Financial Controller (with interest in business controlling)
Exertis Ztorm is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in Stockholm.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
● Collaborate and participate in yearly and monthly closing.
● Actively monitor financial performance, identifying risk and opportunities as well as ensure cost control and follow up of results.
● Internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
● Preparation for external and internal corporate audits.
● Drive financial planning, forecasting and actively participate and support the Head of Finance in yearly and quarterly budget and forecasting process.
● Support in development of business cases, and provide financial analysis to senior business leaders to support decision making.
● Drive development and improvement projects across finance and collaborate with cross functional teams in the wider organisation to drive process improvements and financial outcome.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners; Publisher, Retailers and Suppliers.
● Take active part in finance operations where needed.
About the role
You will work broadly in the financial controlling area with both internal stakeholders, such as our financial team, commercial team and the wider Exertis UK group, and external stakeholders, such as our retailer and publisher partners. Your main expertise is within financial controlling and accounting but we also encourage skills and/or an interest in business controlling as we believe it’s a natural next step in your own development. As part of our financial team, we believe you enjoy contributing with new ideas and have an interest in working with continuous improvement.
You will report to our Head of Finance, Mikael Berggren.
Your experience include:
● A few years of experience in working with accounting.
● Strong experience in consulting external partners and/or clients within finance.
● Relevant degree in economics, finance or similar.
● Fluency and experience in working in English.
● Strong knowledge in IFRS (must-have) and preferably experienced in working in an international environment (nice-to-have).
● Excellent understanding of large data sets and financial systems.
● Strong Excel skills.
● Preferably worked within retail, distribution or similar, with understanding and knowledge in the supply chain from publisher to consumer (nice-to-have).

In addition to relevant work experience, we’re looking for someone with the right personal skills and motivation. To thrive at Exertis Ztorm, we believe you are autonomous, curious and have the ability and desire to continuously learn new things and deepen your knowledge. You naturally take ownership, initiatives (and drive them through!) and enjoy working in a fast-paced intentional environment.
You’re an excellent and professional communicator and able to navigate and prioritise. Since you’re working in the middle of the distribution chain, you will be consulting and advising both colleagues and partners from a financial perspective. And lastly, you’re good with numbers, have strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
